We will be talking about thing such as damage caused by porn, sexualisation of children and why porn hub is allowed to publish videos of rape and the sexual abuse of children.
So, if you don’t want to hear any of that…. don’t listen….. simples
Blondy was exposed to sexualised behaviour from a young age and in various ways. I am not thankful for a lot of things In terms of what did and did not happen to Blondy but one of the things I most grateful for is that she lived in the era where the internet and social media didn’t really exist
SO, I will ask a question. What age was you when you were first exposed to pornographic material?
Think …. Blondy was raised in an era where many of her friends’ homes had large pictures of completely topless women in some find of pose (usually standing under a waterfall or some other stupidness). Was that pornographic?
If I dig deep and think about being exposed to pornographic material. As in video or magazines or whatever I was under 7. Easily.
More so, As I have said before, Blondy was groomed by certain parts of society to look very sexual from a young age. To apply makeup. To wear certain clothing. It’s happening now to our children and young people …..Ads and videos and films telling women and girls of all ages to look a certain way, act a certain way. Be attractive. Music videos saying that girls want to be choked
I would say in Blondy’s case the sexualisation was extreme. But it wasn’t. Not where she came from. People may not talk about it, may want to forget about it, but that doesn’t make it not true.
Now here is something to ponder….. Some of the stuff that took place way back when was most filmed…. recorded. Some of the abuse that Blondy and many others suffered would have been recorded in such as way. And now many people have to sit here with the knowledge that some of that abuse could surface on Pornhub for people’s entertainment and we would have no control over that.
Think of something that has happened to you that made you feel degraded or worthless or maybe to someone close to you. Feel it.
Then imagine that a video of that was played over and over on the internet for the sexual pleasure of some nasty idiot.
And you could do nothing about it.
Because that’s the kind of things that are taking place. Porn hub are showing videos such as “Barely legal crying” and “Unconscious teen gets it”. And these videos of girls and women’s abuse are then shown over and over whilst file men make even more vile comments about said girl/women on the video.
And nothing is done about it
I could go on and on about these kinds of things, but I don’t need to. because today I bring you Rachel Bell and she is happy to tell you all about this.
I have known Rachel a while and she is one of those super women who goes under the radar a great deal. A radical feminist, journalist, Mum and truth teller and all of these things 100% give her a place in Blondy’s People
Rachel wrote me a blog, a checklist for girls and women to see if they are in a healthy relationship and what that looks like and it got some of my highest views ever. She is a game changer.
Rachel has a website, Betty Bandit, Where she rips apart lap dancing clubs, prostitution, porn, sexualisation of girls and women. She is also an ambassador for Oasis Domestic abuse and Not buying it. Rachel has also written lots on Gender equality and consent. Her blogs are hard hitting and grimy. Just how I like them.
Rachel is one of Blondy’s people because she is out here showing and telling people how disgusted she is with some of the elements of society and holding people accountable. She is making change and not even making a song and dance about it. She is refusing to accept the world we live in and does not give a damn If she has to burn shit down to get people talking. And for that, as Kendra, I applaud her.
Rachel Is one of Blondy’s people because she knows. She knows what happened to me and so many others is not OK. She knows that the secondary trauma is there. She knows that girls like blond then and now are not being educated and she is doing all she can to put things in place.
